Road Work and Sanitation Schedule Changes Expected During Thanksgiving Week

City of Jonesboro

Thanksgiving is next week and the City of Jonesboro wants you to be aware of some activity that will take place ahead of the holiday.

The area highlighted will be closed off on Monday, November 21. Jefferson Ave. between Union and Madison will be closed as road crews cut the road.

Jonesboro E911 says that Crittco Cable Contractors will have Jefferson Ave, from Union to Madison in Downtown Jonesboro closed Monday morning.  Crews will cut the street.  Work is expected to start at 8:30 and there is no word how long the project will last.

Meanwhile, the City of Jonesboro has released the sanitation schedule for Thanksgiving week:

  • Monday, Nov. 21: Monday and Tuesday route collection
  • Tuesday, Nov. 22: Wednesday route collection
  • Wednesday, Nov. 23: Thursday route collection
  • Thursday, Nov. 24: Closed
  • Friday, Nov. 25: Closed
  • Monday, Nov. 28: Friday route collection
  • Tuesday, Nov. 29: Monday and Tuesday route collection
