Goodwill Arkansas has stores located in Jonesboro and Paragould.  Inside the stores are Career Services Centers, which provides free services for those who are looking for a job.  KASU's Johnathan Reaves tells more in this report.

The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center in Piggott presents a summer exhibit that honors the Pfeiffer Family.  This is the 100th anniversary of the Pfeiffer family's move to northeast Arkansas from St. Louis. KASU's Johnathan Reaves tells more.

The Jonesboro Economic Transit System and the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce's Transportation Committee are meeting this afternoon to hear how Ft. Smith developed its transit system.  The meeting will hear from director of Ft. Smith's transit system, Ken Savage about what Jonesboro can do to continue developing its transit system.  KASU's Johnathan Reaves explores some of the challenges transit systems are facing, as well as what JETS plans to do in the future.

The annual Fort Lincoln Freedom Fest takes place Saturday, April 27th in DeValls Bluff.  This event celebrates the Civil War Heritage of east Arkansas.  KASU's Johnathan Reaves tells about this free event that will attract thousands of visitors to get a first hand look at Civil War history.
