Historical Perspective On 2020 Election

As Americans who haven’t voted yet head to the polls Tuesday, we bring in historian Julian Zelizer to put the 2020 election into historical perspective.

And there’s a lot to talk about, including unprecedented early voting, questions about when we’ll get a result and possible legal challenges. There’s also the fact that this election is taking place during a pandemic that has killed more than 230,000 Americans.
