Huang to Lead ARA Project Scope Research Webinar

JONESBORO – Dr. Xiuzhen Huang, professor of computer science and director of the Center for No-Boundary Thinking at Arkansas State University, will host the Wednesday, Nov. 18, edition of "Project Scope," a webinar series presented by the Arkansas Research Alliance (ARA).

The webinar, which begins at 11 a.m., is free and open to the public through the Zoom platform. Registration is online.

Huang, an ARA Scholar, is founder of the Arkansas Artificial Intelligence Campus and co-director of the Translational Research Lab, in partnership with St. Bernards Medical Center.

She will lead an online discussion of her work with artificial intelligence and machine learning, along with Arkansas' growing role in AI innovation.

ARA recently launched the public-facing Project Scope initiative to familiarize more people with research in Arkansas. ARA Project Scope features science presentations by members of the ARA Academy of Scholars and Fellows.
