Dallas Uses COVID-19 Relief Funds To Buy Hotel For People Experiencing Homelessness

Dallas is joining the list of cities and states around the nation buying hotels for people experiencing homelessness, including those who need to quarantine during the pandemic.

The hotel will also become long-term housing for people experiencing homelessness. As Bret Jaspers of KERA reports, it’s a way to address both immediate and future needs with COVID-19 funding.
