First Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccine Administered In US

The first doses of Pfizer and BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccine were administered on Monday to health care workers around the country. In New York, a critical care nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center was the first in the state — and among the first in the country — to receive an injection.
