Advocates Warn Overhaul Is Needed To Get Relief Checks To Incarcerated People
Like many Americans, people in prison will be getting checks from the federal government as part of the new relief bill signed by President Biden on Thursday. But advocates for incarcerated people say the system to get that money to them needs a big overhaul.
