Scientists Look To Prevent Fires Through Vegetation Moisture

Amidst a heatwave and drought conditions threatening California, scientists want to better understand how drought affects plants and trees, and how they burn.

In California and other states, they’re collecting information on vegetation moisture with plans to use that information to prevent more damaging fires.
