Black River Technical College’s Corporate & Community Education Department is offering the 20th Annual Kids’ College, a summer program for students entering grades one through six, where fun and learning go hand-in-hand. Children will attend a wide range of classes with energetic, hands-on activities that are sure to pique their interest. Each participant will receive a mid-morning snack and take home a Kids’ College t-shirt. Households with more than one child will receive a $10 discount for each additional child registered.
Kids’ College will be held Monday through Thursday, June 10 – 13, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Register at the Continuing Education Building, located on the BRTC Pocahontas Campus, College Drive, Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The deadline to register is Thursday, May 23, or until full.
BRTC Kids’ College began in 2000. It has been held every summer at BRTC Pocahontas. In only two years did BRTC not hold Kids’ College. Both of those years were when the college campus was closed to catastrophic regional flooding.
