The Jonesboro Fire Department responds to a fire at a local factory Tuesday Night.
KAIT-TV reports the fire crew was dispatched to Thomas & Betts Corporation on East Highland Drive around 9:47 last night.
According to Assistant Jonesboro Fire Chief Alan Dunn, the source of the fire was a machine that places a plastic coating on tools--which later spread to the filtration system outside.
Workers were evacuated from the building and the crew was able to control the blaze around 10:30 last night.
There is no known cause for the fire.
