This is A-State Connections on KASU. I’m Johnathan Reaves. This is the weekly segment called “A-State Connections and Create@State: Making Connections That Count”. This interview was recorded in April during the Create@State symposium. I talked to recent graduate Tanisha Tak from India. She was recognized as one of the 2019 Distinguished Service Award recipients. Tak graduated in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is working on her master’s degree in communication studies. Her research centered on some of the work that she did as an intern coach in the Communication Center. Before talking about her research, Tak tells about how she came to Arkansas State from India.
