Fall Time Travel & Music Fun - Episode 9/24

Travel Writer Kim Williams lets you in on a little secret in this episode of Traveling Arkansas... she LOVES Fall!  In this episode she will highlight some fun activities in the Natural State that will help you fall in love with Fall in Arkansas, too.

She highlights 2 opportunities to travel back in time and take part of some of the activities settlers  have done way back when.  If time travel is not your thing, Williams also shares with you 2 one-of-a-kind concerts taking place in the state.

One of the concerts features a group who have toured Rock and Roll Highway 67.  The other is a nice intimate concert held under the shade of an Oak Tree.

Featured stops include St. Joe, Fairfield Bay, Hardy, and Mountain View.

A graduate of the radio-television program at A-State, Mark Smith earned his degree in broadcasting in 1986 and received a Master of Public Administration in 2015. He actually started in radio in 1982, just out of high school, with a part-time summer job at KBXM, a small AM station in Kennett, Mo. After his freshman year at Arkansas State, he landed another summer job at KBOA/KTMO in Kennett and continued to work weekends there while attending college.
A Northeast Arkansas native from Wynne, I’ve been involved with radio for about 15 years. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, where I also served as an award-winning News Director for 2 years at KSWH-LP.
