JONESBORO – Arkansas State University Museum’s newest exhibit, "Eat Well, Play Well," is now open and continues until Aug. 7.

Visitors at this highly interactive, hands-on exhibit will test their flexibility and balancing scores, make healthy eating and fitness choices on a computer, and peddle like mad as they work off calories of chosen, virtual snacks.

ASU Museum to host 'Magnificent Me' traveling exhibit

Arkansas State University Museum will host the traveling exhibition, "Magnificent Me," from Saturday, May 5, through Oct. 20. 

The free, interactive exhibit examines human systems including lungs, heart, muscles and bones.

While exploring and having fun with a variety of medical technologies, visitors will learn answers to questions such as, “Can my hand fool my brain? How does my brain ‘see’ a word? Do smells trigger memories?”

A new exhibit at Arkansas State University’s Museum takes a look at racial identity and stereotypes in thrift store donations.  The exhibit is called “Sorting out Race”.  It will be held Monday through March 10th.  Director of the A-S-U Museum Dr. Marti Allen.

“This is on loan to us through the Kauffman Museum at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas,” says Allen.  “This is the first time that this exhibit has been loaned to an institution east of Kansas so we are pleased to have this exhibit at Arkansas State.”
