Atlanta Schools Offer Compassion, Support To Absent Students During Pandemic

An estimated 3 million public school students in the U.S. haven’t been attending classes consistently since the beginning of the pandemic. But in Atlanta, school districts are adopting a “compassion over compliance” approach rather than penalizing students.
