Biden's Potential Pick To Lead EPA Discusses Auto Fuel Standards, Tackling Climate Change

This year will be one of the warmest on record, according to the U.N.’s State of The Climate report, which published on Wednesday. The Biden administration plans to tackle climate change, and it has the support of businesses to take swift action.

Last week, General Motors dropped its support of the Trump administration’s legal fight against California’s strict fuel-efficiency standards, indicating that the company is eager to work with the incoming Biden administration.

Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd talks to Mary Nichols, chair of the California Air Resources Board, who drafted those regulations.
