How Biden's COVID-19 Relief Bill Addresses Poverty

President Biden’s nearly $2 trillion coronavirus relief bill awaits House approval after the Senate passed it over the weekend. It could be signed into law this week.

Sophie Collyer is a research director at the Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University, which analyzed that this relief would reduce a third of the poverty in the U.S. She joins us to explain.
