Jonesboro VA clinic offering Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine

Veterans in Northeast Arkansas will get a chance to get their COVID-19 shot on Thursday with an event in Jonesboro.

The Veteran's Affairs Center in Memphis posted on Facebook that they will be helping to administer the singe-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the VA Clinic in Jonesboro.

The event begins at 8 A.M. Those wanting the vaccine must schedule an appointment by calling the clinic at 870-277-0778.

Meanwhile, the Arkansas Department of Health's website says the East Arkansas Family Health Center in West Memphis is also having a vaccination clinic from 9 A.M. until 2 P.M.

Appointments must be made by calling the center at 870-735-3842.

Arkansas State University in Jonesboro also continues its vaccination clinic for students and employees. It starts at 4 P.M. in Centennial Hall in the Reng Center Student Union. Registration is required by going through this link.
