Amazon has announced plans to build solar farms in Arkansas and in at least 10 other states, including Mississippi and Pennsylvania.
Amazon said yesterday that they are building two solar farms in Northeast Arkansas. A 135-megawatt farm will be in Cross County, while a 120-megawatt farm will be in Crittenden County.
Both farms are projected to come online in 2023.
The Associated Press reports the project is part of a company launch of new renewable energy projects throughout the U.S., Canada, Finland, and Spain.
