Authorities say a car chase in West Memphis Wednesday afternoon ended with a suspect jumping to his death off of the Hernando DeSoto Interstate 40 Bridge.
The West Memphis Police Department saidin a press release that officers were responding to a call of a stolen vehicle found on Ingram Boulevard when the suspects drove off when approached by police.

Officers chased the stolen vehicle as it was headed eastbound on I-40. The suspects ran the vehicle into one of the officer's vehicles and then struck a concrete wall. The driver of the stolen vehicle tried to run on foot, but then jumped over the bridge's north facing wall and fell to his death.
The other two suspects were arrested and charged for possessing methamphetamine.
