3rd Lien Filed Against Keller Convention Center Project

After lien filings from 2 companies and an ultimatum from the Jonesboro Advertising and Promotions Commission, another company has filed a lien against Northern Arkansas Hotel and Convention Center, LLC.

The Sun reports that HD Supply Construction Supply of Allen, Texas filed a lien against the company earlier this week.  The lien is in regards to the delayed construction of the Hyatt Place Hotel and Convention Center to be built near Interstate 555 on Browns Lane Access Road.

HD is requesting over $4,117.57 for materials used for the project.  That now brings Northern Arkansas Hotel liens to over $875,000.  The Jonesboro A&P sent a letter to Northern Arkansas Hotel's CEO Chris Keller recently asking the company to give some details on the progress of the project by May 19 or repay the city $75,000.

Keller told the Sun his company halted construction when one of his investors was 5 months behind on his draw of the project.
