BREAKING: Health Officials confirm 16 cases of COVID-19 in Arkansas

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchison and state health officials announcedFriday that 3 more presumptive cases of COVID-19 have been detected, bringing the total to 9.

Update 3/12 2:13 PM

Hutchinson said the cases are related to the first case that was announced in Pine Bluff on Wednesday.  Officials say the patients are located in Saline, Jefferson, Pulaski, and Grant Counties.

Schools in the affected counties have been urged to close in those areas.
