'Coping with Anxiety during COVID-19' webinar

My name is Devin Nelson, a Student Life Counselor with the A-State Counseling Center. Coping with Anxiety During COVID-19 is a free webinar focusing on managing increased anxiety related to the global pandemic. All our lives have changed dramatically, and whether you may already struggle with anxiety, or if anxiety is new to you, we can all benefit from exploring new ways to cope.

While the A-State Counseling Center serves students of Arkansas State University- Jonesboro Campus with free and confidential services year-round, we want to take this opportunity to open this webinar to the community. We encourage anyone who wants to improve their coping skills to join us. The webinar may also increase your ability to support others who are dealing with increased anxiety during this difficult time. Following the webinar each participant will receive a link to a free anxiety coping workbook!

The webinar will take place May 14th at 2pm and May 18th at 10am, with more dates to come. I have attached the flyer to this email for you to share with your colleagues, students, friends, etc. Please feel free to contact me at dharper@astate.edu with any questions you may have!

The is an email submitted to KASU News from the community.  It has been slightly editied for comprehension and timeliness.  ASU is KASU's licensee.
