The Red Cross's "Joined by Blood" Sickle Cell Initiative is underway. Wendy Stotts, an Account Manager with the Red Cross Missouri Arkansas Blood Services Region, says they are asking for more people from the Black community to donate blood. She does note, for those who aren't eligible to donate blood, there are still ways to get involved.
