- BOOZMAN HEALTHCARE: Speaking to Talk Business and Politics, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-Ark.) says the Graham-Cassidy Bill is a step in the right direction. The legislation is the latest effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
- ACH GRANT: The Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center received a $7.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The 23-year-old center is one of 2 in the nation devoted solely to researching children’s nutrition.
- LITTLE ROCK 9 CHILDREN: Today is the 60th Anniversary of the desegregation of Little Rock Central High School. Events over the weekend were planned, including a panel discussion involving the surviving members of the Little Rock 9 and their children. Former President Bill Clinton is expected to speak at an event set for today at 10 am.
