Run off election totals for Craighead County

Here are the final results from the run off election that took place today in Craighead County. These are all Alderman's races that took place in the cities of Black Oak, Brookland, Jonesboro, and Monette. 
 
In Black Oak, for Alderman  Position 1 , Tim Jones defeats Daniel Carmichael 19-16 votes. 
 
For Brookland Ward 3, Position 1,  Martin Crane defeats Melinda Burcham 46-44 votes. 
 
For Jonesboro Ward 2, Position 2, Gene Vance defeats Terry Sharp 832-562 votes. 
 
For Monette, Ward 1, Position 2, Kristian Nuckles defeats Tracey Yates Thompson 100-25 votes. 
 
These numbers are unofficial and will be certified in 10 days. 

Johnathan Reaves is the News Director for KASU Public Radio. As part of an Air Force Family, he moved to Arkansas from Minot, North Dakota in 1986. He was first bitten by the radio bug after he graduated from Gosnell High School in 1992. While working on his undergraduate degree, he worked at KOSE, a small 1,000 watt AM commercial station in Osceola, Arkansas. Upon graduation from Arkansas State University in 1996 with a degree in Radio-Television Broadcast News, he decided that he wanted to stay in radio news. He moved to Stuttgart, Arkansas and worked for East Arkansas Broadcasters as news director and was there for 16 years.
