Another Week, Another Mayor: The Christie Scandal Widens
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is facing new allegations about whether he used the powers of his office to punish a local politician. This time, the charge is that he withheld a city's federal recovery money for Superstorm Sandy because the mayor wouldn't support an ally's redevelopment project. 'Gut-Wrenching' Chicago Clergy Abuse Documents Go Online
Church officials have handed over thousands of pages of formerly secret papers to attorneys representing victims. The documents cover 30 of the 65 or so Chicago-area clergy who the church believes abused children in the '70s, '80s and '90s.
Report Details Alleged 'Systematic' Killing By Syria's Assad
The report by three former war crimes prosecutors is based on what are said to be thousands of photographs of dead prisoners that allegedly were smuggled out by a Syrian defector. The revelation comes just ahead of Syrian peace talks set to begin in Switzerland.
