Former Jonesboro Mayor Harold Perrin has endorsed Corey Seats for Prosecuting Attorney for the Second Judicial District.

A campaign news release on Thursday said that Perrin, who attends church with Seats, said that he's "the right person for the job"; highlighting Seat's service in the Army National Guard.

The campaign also announced that they have raised nearly $10,000 in Seats' bid for Prosecuting Attorney.

Seats has been the deputy prosecutor since December 1999 for the district that encompasses 6 Northeast Arkansas counties: Craighead, Greene, Crittenden, Mississippi, Poinsett, and Clay.

He has also served as the coordinator for the Second Judicial District Drug task force since 2014.
