Henderson State University Being Restructured into an 'I-30 Learning Community'

Henderson State University

Henderson State University is being restructured to help provide learning opportunities to more students. Henderson State announced an I-30 learning community…one brings partnerships with universities within the Arkansas State University System, Ouachita Baptist, career and technical centers through central Arkansas, local school districts, and the Arkansas Department of Education. Henderson State University Chancellor Dr. Chuck Ambrose says this is designed to help expand a learning model for all grade levels.

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson says he is pleased with the progress that Henderson State is making as it tries to overcome serious financial challenges. Hutchinson says he has confidence in the new model at Henderson and for the future of the university. Henderson State University is part of the ASU System.
