Four Northeast Arkansas music artists have been nominated for a Grammy Award.
The Recording Academy announced Tuesday the nominees for this year's Grammy Awards ceremony. Jonesboro natives Zach Williams and Jonathan Smith were nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for their song "Chain Breaker." The duo co-wrote the song with Mia Fieldes who was also nominated in the category.
Media outlets report Williams is scheduled to perform at Westside High School on December 17 for his "Finding Favor" tour.
Also nominated are West Memphis natives and sisters Jekalyn and Allundria Carr for Best Gospel Performance/Song for their live version of "You're Bigger."
The 59th annual Grammy Awards are set to air on Sunday, February 12 on CBS.
