This is A-State Connections on KASU. I’m Johnathan Reaves. This is the weekly segment called “A-State Connections and Create@State: Making Connections That Count. In this episode, we feature sixth grade students from Nettleton STEAM. They recently competed a challenge that allowed them to design a lunar space suit using homemade materials. I interviewed Nettleton STEAM Facilitator Kelli Cochran, 6th grade teacher Jamie Stephens and students Layla Westbrook, Jacob Robinson, and Gabby Tucker. Cochran talks about the challenge the students have participated in as part of the NASA Downlink program. Click on the Listen button for the entire interview.
