Meet Dr. Temma Balducci!

She's with the Department of Art and Design at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and is one of the presenters on a new feature on KASU titled ‘What Am I Looking At.’

Each Wednesday afternoon at 4:44 and each Sunday morning at 8:35, you’ll hear insights into works of art that are in some ways unusual, sometimes strange, and sometimes hard to understand.

Her bio on astate.edu reads:
"Temma Balducci received her Ph.D. in art history at the University of Kansas in 2005 and now teaches courses in nineteenth- and twentieth-century art at Arkansas State University. She has published on the 19th-century British artist, Mary Ellen Best, and on feminist art of the 1970s. She is co-editing a volume on nineteenth-century masculinity and the interior with Heather Jensen and Pamela Warner that is due out from Ashgate in 2010. Her manuscript in progress challenges the ubiquity of the Baudelairean flâneur in scholarly understandings of late nineteenth-century Parisian masculinity."

Join her and her co-host, Dr. Katherine Baker, for this exploration of the visual on your radio.

Catch "What Am I Looking At?" on Wednesdays at 4:44 p.m. and on Sundays at 8:35 a.m. on KASU.
