Leah Long
Instructor of Art History at Arkansas State University JonesboroLeah Long received her Ph.D. in Classical Art and Archaeology from the University of Michigan. Since 2003, she has been active in archaeological field projects in Turkey, where she was a member of the Aphrodisias Excavations and Aphrodisias Regional Survey projects, and is now working with an interdisciplinary Polish-Italian team documenting ancient marble quarries in western Turkey. Her research focuses on Greco-Roman stone exploitation, and its intersections with urbanism, economy, and artistic production in the ancient world.
