New Rules Put Brakes On Truck Drivers' Schedules
Department of Transportation statistics show that between 3,000 and 4,000 people die annually in large truck and bus crashes in America. Starting July 1, new regulations limiting the hours commercial vehicle drivers can be on the road will be enforced.

Arizona Wildfire Kills 19 Firefighters, Deadliest In Decades
As many as 400 firefighters, still mourning those lost, are now battling the massive Arizona wildfire. Since it began Friday, the Yarnell Hill Fire has grown to more than 8,000 acres, destroying an estimated 200 homes.
Egypt's Military Lays Down Ultimatum As Unrest Spreads
The military gave President Mohammed Morsi and anti-government protesters 48 hours to resolve their differences, failing which it would put forward its own plan for the country. On the second day of anti-government demonstrations, protesters gave Morsi their own deadline: resign by 5 p.m. Tuesday. He says he won't go.

HIV Treatment Should Start Even Earlier, WHO Says
People with HIV should get on medications even before they get sick, World Health Organization officials say. The new treatment guidelines aim to slow spread of the virus by making more then 26 million people eligible for antiretroviral drugs. But it's unclear who will foot the bill.
Calif. Judge Rules Yoga In Public Schools Not Religious
The decision came after some parents in the San Diego area sued the Encinitas Union School District to stop yoga classes because they believed the ancient Indian practice had religious overtones. An attorney for the patents said they'd likely appeal.
