Local health units in Craighead and Crittenden Counties host COVID vaccination clinics

The Arkansas Department of Health Local Health Units are making COVID vaccinations available to the public this week.

The Craighead County Local Health Unit in Jonesboro on Tuesday will have a vaccination clinic starting at 9:30 A.M. and lasting until 6 P.M. Jonesboro city officials said that no reservations are required.

Also, every day this week, the Crittenden County Local Health Unit in West Memphis will have a clinic from 9:30 A.M. until 6 P.M.

Appointments can be made by calling the state vaccine clinic call center at 1-800-985-6030.

On Wednesday, there will be vaccination events at the Baptist Health Community Center in Forrest City and at the East Arkansas Family Health Center in West Memphis.

All Arkansans 16 years old and older are eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine.
