Marshall wins in GOP primary runoff for Craighead Co. Clerk

Mary Dawn Marshall is the projected winner of a runoff election in Craighead County for county clerk.

Unofficial results from the county election commission on Tuesday, June 21 showed that out of 1,544 ballots cast in the Republican primary runoff, Marshall received 53% of the vote, or 818 votes. Her competitor, Nancy Robbins, came very close with around 47% of the vote, or 725 votes.

Marshall will run unopposed in November since there is no Democratic opponent for county clerk.

In other regional runoff elections, according to content partners KAIT, Paragould Police Captain Brad Snyder is the projected winner for Greene County Sheriff against incumbent Steve Franks. For Randolph County Judge, Randy Barber is the projected winner against opponent Paul Carr.
