Arkansas State University graduate Aaron J. Fisher is one of nine recipients of the Arkansas Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowship award. The honors are given to recognize outstanding artistic achievement, and the accompanying monetary award is designed to give the honorees the opportunity to pursue creation of additional works. KASU’s Marty Scarbrough spoke recently with Fisher about the fellowship… about his time at Arkansas State University… and about his own musical journey. Fisher will be honored along with the other recipients at a ceremony this Thursday night, September 27, at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock.
