Andrea Allen is Executive Director of Delta Center for Economic Development at A-State

Arkansas State University

Andrea Allen is the Executive Director of the Delta Center for Economic Development at Arkansas State.  Allen joined A-State as the deputy director for the Delta Center in 2016, and was elevated to interim executive director earlier in 2018.

In the just over five months as interim director, Allen oversaw the expansion of services with key constituent groups, and added new programs.  The most notable was the awarding of a five-year, $564,000 grant EDA University Center grant, and the re-establishment of University Center designation for the Delta Center.  KASU's Johnathan Reaves conducted this interview with Allen.  She tells a little about herself.  Click on the Listen button for the entire interview.
